Husband Found In A Mineshaft, Wife Still Missing & A Sketchy Co-worker: The Ray & Jennie Kehlet Case
“So many balls were dropped that this could have easily been solved by now,” is the opening line of this US podcast about Ray and Jennie’s murders: Mile Higher, by husband and wife team Josh Thomas and Kendall Rae.
This podcast is quite a journey, a familiar one at that.
The pair start the episode with a fresh air of indignity, sharing their frustrations of the investigation, the unfathomability of the Bargain-Basement-Aldi-Angry-Anderson’s (BBAAA)’s version of events, and their incredulous depiction of the police response – or lack thereof. Midway through the episode, there is a noticeable change in their demeanour. Josh starts F-bombing and shaking his head in utter disbelief. Kendall describes the ‘Inquest Discoveries', and with an exasperated expression needs to pause for a moment of reflection: “I mean, it’s things like this that just, like, make you want to beat your head against the wall, it’s so stupid.”
The Mile Higher Podcast is a large production, the hosts are top ranked true crime persons up there north of the equator – they’ve got MILLIONS of followers – so these familiar and very evident frustrations will be widely shared. WAPo and the BBAAA are hereby universally infamous.
